二、S+had+ wished+ to Vr 【 過去(未完成的願望) 】
We had wanted to see him, but found he was out.
=We wanted to have seen him, but found he was out.
(我們想去看他，但發現他出門了)

三、S+ wish+ to Vr 【希望(未來)…但(未發生)】
How soon do you expect to leave for South America? 你多快會離開南美洲?
(注意 這裡是do ，非過去式，而是現在簡單式，故to 後面接的為Vr )
- to have Vpp(稱 完成式不定詞) 可以變成 簡單式 ，但後面要接其他句子解釋結果是否達到，否則會不太知道到底結果有沒有成功
- 若該等動詞不以過去式表達者 (即hoped改以hope表示) ，後面的簡單式不定詞 (即to have Vpp 變成 to Vr)，則表示 「未來意思」。ex: I hope to see you. 我期待看到你
- 若該等動詞為過去完成式，加上不定詞(即 had hoped + to Vr) 表示「過去未實現願望」
四、I wish(that) / If only+ S+ were/had Vpp/ 過去助動詞+Vr
= 但願…..；要是….有多好‼；真希望…
=S+would rather+S+V (假設法)
If only I could see him again. 但願我能再見到他
I wish he were here. 我真希望他現在在這裡
I wish he had come here last night. 我真希望昨天晚上來這裡

五、 I wish+[S+may+原式]
=May+S+原式
=I wish + 人+ 事物
=I wish + 事物+ to 人
